Who is in the kitchen messing around with the Magic Soap dispenser?  Its dinging (with light) and dispensing dish soap! Turned on the kitchen light and at first saw nothing...maybe the thing is going bad...oh..there is goes again! Ding/light, soap...and a black cat tail! The tail is swishing back and forth just enough to not be seen when approaching the sink. The blind is down so can't see the cat that is attached to the tail. Silly kitty. Now she has a soapy tail! She is not happy with me after I rinsed it! ttfn

This day started out ok..then went to so so, then bad and then really bad...then it stared turning around ...on the way home.. The best was seeing photos of my puppy Sonko!! Shannon sent me some photos to put on her website. Rainshadow Farm Ahh puppies!!! Perfect ending to a bad day!! ttfn

Wish I could start this day over..at least the beginning and middle...the ending is good! I got to crop and scale puppy photos!! And some were of Sonko!! Go to TNG Kritters blog to see them!! The fire on Bear Mt was a distraction from the day. So thankful for the quick response of the fire fighters! ttfn

Smoky..Bear Mt is behind the trees on the left. Smoke from all the fires burning in Shasta and Tehama Counties and more in Northern California. News on the fires in my area.  Was taking photos just for the heck of it of the nekked kids... What's that sound? and What sound? Willow..what was that light? Willow's mom...Cherry Berry Willow's grandma -Layah Layah who gets stuck in the kitchen, I put down pads so she can walk on the floor better but she still gets stuck and Willow pees on them!! And brand new! Don't know if the old one was stolen or taken by the USPS person. I drove up to it after work this afternoon and there it was. Sweet!! And I had mail. Since the locks worked, maybe the locks could be keyed to match the old ones. Anyway..it's back and I'm happy about that! ttfn

Yep that is what it reads, "NO MAIL". Sometimes I check the mail on the way to work, and today was one of those days. I drove up to the big box and looked out my window...hhhuu??? I blinked and looked again then looked at the two older package boxes then back to where the mail box was supposed to be. All that was there were the bolts sticking out of the cement and off to the side the nuts and washers. I didn't have time to call the post office. On my way home from work tonight I drove by the mail box and still not there. So glad I checked the mail on Sat! I know there were warning stickers on the mail boxes stating that thieves want your mail so check often. Wow they really do, and the lock box!   "Note to Self", Self - call post office in the morning while on the road to look at Peruvian Inca Orchid puppies! Yay!! I am excited about going to see the little ones! They are about 6 weeks old now. Going to photograph and video tape them! I know it will be fun!

Missed last nights (was billed as the best viewing) sky showing of the Perseid Meteor shower . Not due to lack of trying; home from work after 10:30 pm then back at 6 am. Dozed in the chair on my front porch. ... Today, took a nap when I got home this afternoon...sprayed with avon bug spray and here I sit watching the light show with crickets for my music and the off in the distance a dog continuing the twilight bark. Did I mention I have a bald dog on my lap, and another.r Rest are exploring the porch and soon will have their turn for some snuggles.     ttfn

Making changes on a friends website. www.rainshadowfarm.com . Updating. It is taking me longer than usual due to the fact its a very complex website (from the innards folder stand point). Now that I know what I am doing I can do it, sort of. I am use to the old fashioned style of using a text program combined with SeaMonkey. (Hey it works and it's simple.) The one I am working on now is just as folderized as the other but in one place. Yesterday it was recorded at 105 degrees! So far my laptop is reading at 102 but then it's only 3 pm. My son and his girlfriend are visiting..(right now they are out visiting friends). Short but sweet visit. They leave early Sat. morning.  On the way home from work this afternoon, I stopped off at Nicks Grill in Bella Vista and picked up a few hamburgers and a basket of fries! Lunch! (I needed a break from the tomato sauce mixture I made a few days ago which doesn't seem to be going away!!) Ahh..a cup of Peets Coffee iced sounds really good after the cold glass of iced tea I had with lunch. 2/3 cup of coffee (using the Decaf Java Mocha, one of my faves.) 2.5 cups of water drip coffee maker when done add 2.5 cups of ice into carafe for a quick cool down! Serve over ice. I add a touch of liquid raw sugar and a dash of creamer. I did see where Peets was advertising a mint green tea...I just might get some! I love minty things! ttfn

Took the test roll of 35 mm film to Costco to be developed...and did some window shopping in Best Buy while I waited. The results are in!! It's a go!! Time to start looking for the flash on eBay and or Craigs list. Tested all the lens', all worked except the tele-converter lens. It fits snug but it screws with the meter and won't click! BTW...my scanner was messing with me...not scanning straight. The photos kept curling! Next time will have the prints put on disc or what ever they do now. regular lens..messing with exposure wide angle lens..used auto exposure Zoom lens...thought it was focused on the mt! As you can see in 2nd photo from the bottom...I have a dirt back yard!!\ I would like to thank Crown Camera for looking over my AE-! Canon and helpful tips! ttfn

Pulled the AE-1 Canon that I bought in summer of 1978, out of mothballs...Bought some film and took a few photos...no flash due to the batteries leaked and the connections are gone..dust...So if the seal on the body is good then I will hit up Ebay or Craigs list for a hot shoe flash.  Also the mirror is dirty!! I blew off the big chunks. The little air cleaner brush was eaten by something who liked the bristles. I am not going to be using the same camera bag. Don't know what else might be hiding in there! Have my lenses, wide angle, zoom, reg. 50, and a tele converter and my old 70's camera strap! I will post photos of the results of the trial run!!  ttfn

An up date on the Avon products I used on the bald kids...The oatmeal wash was good, the scrub good. The gelled oil not so good...it made them sticky!! Not soft and smooth..STICKY!!! I asked a co-worker how she liked it..very bluntly..she didn't like it. Said it made her sticky. yep it does do that! So that will be one product I will not be getting again or recommending. ttfn
