Discoveries  Stack of Polaroids in my Mom's desk drawer...nope not scanning all of them. My Mom was not the best photographer but she loved taking photos! Esp with new camera types! Window is now operable!  These tools were used to open the painted window. Yes the soda was needed.   No glass was broken..I think I kinda had a close call but all is good. Next will be to measure and see about getting a screen. Of course my purple fan has to sit in the window. That is what purple fans do best. Thank you Vanessa for the fancy window fan!! Loving it! Not the window but its the yard which is an extension of my room.  ttfn
