Giving this Medi-Cal a try
Took 2 months to get Medi-Cal. I have been assigned to the clinic in Round Mountain. Shasta Community Health is filled and so are all the doctors in the Redding area. I have heard good things about Round Mountain's health care; physicians, dentist, chiropractor. Have my first appointment Friday (tomorrow) at 9:20 am. Google map says with no traffic 32 mins. When I called to make my appointment I was advised to give myself 90 mins! Highway 299 is having major road work done 24 hrs a day! I was also advised to bring water etc. since the local store is closed and the cafe ..well ...it has it's own hours. I hope no panic attacks happen. But I am thinking one might, due to a small one sneaked in on the way home from work this afternoon (thinking about the doctors visit and the "spot" on the tip of my nose, which by the way bled last night.- it popped up end of May or first week of June). FYI - I'm on Medi-Cal now due to I no longer work for Joanns Fabric and Craft,
