Avon for Valentines!

Colonoscopy on 1-26-2012

What can I say? All the yucky stories for the "prep" I have heard...ARE TRUE!!!! AND worse!!! insert evil smile/laugh. The actual procedure, I can't comment on that due to I was sleeping!! The day after is not so good, feels like I was punched just below my belly button to the left a little. Like a bruised pain..tender to the touch...well not tender but more like OUCH!!! At least the good news is..don't have to do that again for another 10 years!!

Layah's leg story

This is old...but I pulled this off another of my blogs (dog related blog), in wanting to save it. *************************** My puppy (born 12/27/06), Layah, true hairless, broke her leg July 11, 2007 (so much for lucky 7/11) by jumping off the couch instead of using the doggy stairs! July 12th had surgery to put in a plate for one of the bones, the other was just too tiny to touch (broke her radius and ulna). The first "hole" started to granulate over but then another hole started!! Vet took a sample of the infection from the new wound and did a sensitivity test. Two types of bacteria both common on the skin had gone wild...one type of Rx would wor

A chapter of my life ended with TNG's Saturday Night Fever (aka Disco) being helped over the Rainbow Bridge by the caring and loving Veterinarian, Dr. Heather Evans (At Home Mobile Veterinary Clinic) and her assistant Jennifer. I have had the honor of knowing both of these extraordinary women and trusting them with my pets for many years. This chapter was of the short time I showed and bred Bernese Mt. Dogs. Not only letting go of one of the sweetest big goofy dogs I bred, this ends my Berner ways. Her parents: dam Selene; her sire Corbin. There was a lot of both of them in Disco, not only in looks but in personality. Disco was a blend of them both in being a protector like her daddy and a silly bouncing berner like her mom. Disco was there for my son when times were tough here at home with my divorce. This is the time she was often called Bumper Buddy. Due to her doing the "Berner Bump" AND she would do it hard! If you

I have not had cable or satellite tv in many many years and where I live I can only get a few local channels and that is spotty. So Roku is just right for me! Thank you for a wonderful product!
