Keeper of Odd Hours

It's been a long time since I updated..been busy with new position at work and two extra PIO's. Here is a video (not edited) of Zaramama (aka Zara), coated PIO and Jalincha (Sonja's beloved). These two and Sonko (my other PIO) love to run. Sonko was not in the video due to the girls needed some girl time but you can hear him being upset about the whole thing..don't worry he got to run with them. I can run Jalincha with my dogs and then run Mochica (another of Sonja's) with my pack. BUT not Jalincha and Mochica together! They posture and growl at each other as they pass each others crates or see each other through the glass door. Jalincha is one person dog. She loved and trusted Sonja and now me (not a lot, but it's there).

Decided to not use the same color/pattern for the kitchen as the living room. Did my bedroom instead! The kitchen will have a tile look, the wood pattern just doesn't mesh well with the kitchen cabinets. Not to many photos of the bedroom project. I did it a little differently. Instead of emptying the whole room I moved things to one side and then around as needed. Since at first it was only me doing the work (then Vanessa came for a visit and then Lynette!...so They learned how to install this type of flooring!). Always good to learn something new! ok..so there is only one photo I can use! When I get my closet back together (most of it is on the floor) I will take some after photos!  Now where did those large plastic garbage bags go??? ttfn

WOW two updates in one day! Must mean...there will be a dry spell for a bit! The Kritter Kids are adjusting to life with the two who are staying with us.  Lots to write but I just don't feel like it! I have done updates with those involved. 4 bald Kritters.  Willow is giving a sleepy wink. I think I need a bigger recliner! No room for me! So here I sit on my computer chair! ttfn

It's been a long while since I updated anything!! In the TNG Kritter world, I have taken in two of my friend's dogs, Sonja passed away suddenly and I was able and willing to help. The two girls are here now waiting on final arrangements for their forever homes.

Took a few days off from working on the floor. Got hit by the high temps (not me, the weather).  Worked on it today and all that needs to be done now is the little corner by the wood stove platform and the transition strips. So far the 4 legged critters don't mind the floor. Except Layah, but she is more of the 3 legged type. She gets "stuck". No biggie, she gets stuck in the kitchen when she faces the stove or in doorways. She will have to adjust (started adjusting to the hallway). last little bit, but will take two planks! the green is going to be painted real soon!  the "slant" ate up planks!! A Thorn in my foot is what the transition strips are. ;) I was sold from Home Depot what was to be reducers and transitions. (rolling eyes here). I told the guy I have the vinyl planks! NOT the laminate plants! BIG difference in thickness!  The ones he sold me would be more dangerous to have on the floor than empty space! Time to take the

After work today: Ice Cream, reading a book = nap. Simple dinner. Put some felt sticky pads on a chair and the recliner. Worked on the floor. Called it a night at 9:30 pm. Stomach is doing flip flops, might be due to being too hot and not enough water. Shower and more water then bed. The four legged kids are not happy. They don't understand why they can't help. They did escape. Not pretty when they step on the sticky part of the planks or the little pieces laying on the floor..poor things. lol Sorry for the blurry photo...not feeling well, shaky. ttfn

I will be taking breaks so I can get other things done around here (payday). During my breaks I will take a photo or two and post the time.  The curtains are going.... Starting at 10 am. Friday, July 19, 2013 It's moving along nicely. Had to do some creative cutting/snapping but got it done! A sharp blade is needed!! Going to take a shower (95 degrees outside), then heading to the My-T-Fine Store for some ice cream and soda with chips! (as far as I can remember I have always eaten chips and soda!) And pick up some lunch/dinner fixings. Was up till 3 am!! Have not done that "on purpose" in a very long time! And was up and being an old school zombie at 7 ish am till the coffee kicked in. Yesterday I took long nap after work. Woke up, had some ice tea, played some GW2. When it was cool outside, opened the doors/windows with fans on proceeded to clean. What was cleaned was the Garden window in the kitchen. So many spider webs, but they have served their purpose! Many flies were caught in them! Natural fly traps! Enough about the flies/spiders. I took out the rubber mat that came with the house and used that as a template to cut some pebbled vinyl wall paper. Looks nice!   The counter top back splash needs to be redone. it's coming off! Next was the stove top..eww. Used my wood stove glass cleaner on it! Works pretty good! While I was in the kitchen doing the above: ALL the carpet that was to be taken out is OUT!! Thank you Kathryn! Today April 27, 2013 at Ten O' Clock in the Morning; Lynette graduated from Simpson University with her Bachelors in Business Human Resouces Managment. Love you and hoping and praying for nothing but the best for your future. We ate outside at Red Robin. ttfn
