At work...Sonko with Cory   Sonko (9 months old)  got a new jacket, a Kong ball and some cookies. There goes my paycheck! I can't take that pup anywhere with me without him getting something!  He makes friends easier with a Kong Ball than with treats! The above photo is where he found his beloved toys! The ones that are hung with no outside wrapping are just out of his reach so he used the little red dog house to step on to get to them! In the office area where I work. I put the leash on the arm of the office chair and he is pretty good for a few seconds..then he gets bored and he shows that by whining and hitting me with his paws. See the stare he gives in the photo to the left.  Get that look then off we go for parking lot walks. He prances, holding his head high! He is such a kick! While the owner of the store was talking to a customer who was telling about her dogs mouth sores and all the different foods and meds Sonko wanted to see her real bad. He pulled on his...

This is a repost from TNG Kritters! For those who are not following that one...I am going to look into seeing if I can combine them so they are one blog but different! I think it is adding a "page". Have to test that out. At work...Sonko with Cory Sonko (9 months old)  got a new jacket, a Kong ball and some cookies. There goes my paycheck! It's a good day!

Here are some photos of the carpet removal, painting (later will be installing new floor). The photo of the actual carpet being ripped out didn't turn out so good...So there will be an after photo. Photo is too dark... looks a little lopsided...hahahah But that is how most of this house is!  Naa...I was just standing crooked!  Better color. But a little washed out... Now for a little bit on work. I met the OTL from the other store who is helping out. She will be teaching me the cash office on Wednesday. It will be different than the small format store. No going to the bank! Change orders will be done by phone and armored truck pick up etc. Should be fun/interesting! Today we thought we were going to get the fabric boxes out that were received this morning, but more came this afternoon! ARGH!! LOTS of fabrics!!!! New lines! So far I have seen 4 new lines and leaving lots of space for another line soon to be here! The corp VP will be in t...

Working out but not...

The past three days of work have been hard on my body! But I have noticed muscles I didn't know I had! From the cutting samples of the home decorator fabrics one day. The next two days was to tackle 70+ pallets of fabric boxes, some stood taller than me! By the end of the 3day (yesterday) we had all but 2.5 pallets done! What do you think I did today on my day off? Only the basic minimum. Feed dogs, dishes, laundry, put the garbage cans out for pickup tomorrow.  I did catch up on some reading and made it to the Dagot Season of X-files. Took a long nap!! Almost time for ibuprofen and a big glass of ice water! ok..now the news of the store. I found out yesterday that the OTL is no longer there. Third person told me, that she quit. I thought something like that happened when I saw that another OTL from a store in the Sac. area is coming up (till the DM decides what to do). I have been told that maybe I will be offered my position back. I highly doubt it but if I was, I do...
